Summer Piano 2024

I offer eight weeks of lessons during the summer. Your tuition for the upcoming year includes 4 summer lessons. You’re welcome–even encouraged–to add additional summer lessons, to be charged à la carte. If you are starting your piano lesson journey in the summer, I especially encourage you to schedule as many lessons as you can during June and July.

All summer lessons are 45 minutes. They’ll be scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in June and July. You must get your summer lessons scheduled during that time frame. I will not extend summer lessons beyond the dates listed on the calendar.

Our summer schedule can be more flexible than the school-year schedule. Summer lessons may be rescheduled with 24 hours notice. No need to ask about rescheduling, just log in and move your lesson time to another open slot.

Flexible Options for Summer

• Normal Private Lessons spaced throughout the summer to suit your schedule.
• Summer Intensive: Schedule 4 summer lessons in a short amount of time–all in one week, if you like. We’ll work on a special project that the student will help me choose.
• Partner Lessons: Pair up with a partner who is about the same level as you to work on duets and other ensemble projects. (If you would like this option, mention it to me before scheduling so we can talk about possible partners.)
• Music Theory Focus: We’ll spend at least 2/3rds of each summer lesson working on music theory. I encourage this especially for those students who already recognize that being a musician is going to be a significant part of their life.
